We had dinner reservations at the Lakeside grill, they were overbooked and understaffed. This happened multiple times throughout the night. We sat at the lobby lounge for over 20 minutes while 3 ladies stood in the corner talking and just kept saying to everyone waiting they’d be there shortly. I heard great things and we were highly disappointed. My husband and I stayed this past weekend and it was our first time visiting the resort. Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races is a much better place to visit. Thought about coming back in the summer but this trip has canceled that. The casino is too small for the amount of people that stay there. The staff all seem to be just out of high school and really don't underdtanf or care about customer satisfaction. I was highly unimpressed by the whole experience.

I travel for work and am in hotels/resorts 250+ days a year, this one is on the bottom of my list for value for your money. Did witness 2 staff members digging through several trash cans in a panic and to other following a couple around while they played, for 30 or so minutes, looked to be interrogating them. Ordered room service from Lakeside Grill, they called back 20 minutes later saying they didn't have one of the orders and asked for a substitute but were impatient and told me to call back when I figured it out. I paid for the mountain/lake view and all I could see was a roof of another area and HVAC equipment, not much of a view.

Room was clean but the ac/heater was loud. Check in was easy, although I was called twice to confirm I was coming.
